I started out painting animals and pet portraits almost exclusively; however, after I moved Texas, I quickly found inspiration in the vibrant and lively culture of Fiesta San Antonio. As my artistic journey continued, I found ways merge the Fiesta theme into my portraits - like dogs in Fiesta flower crowns! The idea first came to me when I was doing a pet portrait for a close, San Antonio friend of mine, and she sent me some pictures of her adorable bulldog in all sorts of hats. The idea suddenly hit me... A FLOWER CROWN! Ever since then, I have loved painting portraits of dogs in flower crowns (which is a staple Fiesta accessory). Molly, here, is a yellow lab. Her sweet expression, paired with her vibrant crown, would make her the perfect addition to the home any Fiesta, San Antonio, or yellow lab enthusiast!
